Polyurethane foam has excellent sealing and shock absorption performance. It does not collapse after long-term use and can maintain long-term resilience. It is popular used in electronic devices recently. But the foam structure of polyurethane makes the material easy to produce scratches and chips. It cannot meet the customer needs in some sliding applications. PR is our product which is developed according to the customer's needs. The special production process enables the foam to be more closely connected with the foam structure and the surface is more scratch resistant on the basis of maintaining the soft characteristics. It can meet the needs of electronic devices users for mobile or friction environment applications. While the material is scratch resistant, it has a strong advantage for the bending position and still maintain the integrity of the foam structure after long-term use.
Scratch test: Load 200g, rubber head friction test. The common polyurethane foam was damaged by 15 cycles of friction, and our PR foam began to break after 200 times of friction.
Right angle bend test: Stick the foam to the right angle with double-sided tape. Surface cracks were generated on the common polyurethane around 24 hours testing while there were not any cracks on the surface of our PR foam after 120 hours testing.
